Step 5: Management


During the management phase, you can choose from the wide range of support, maintenance and managed service options that Mercury IT can offer you. Our award-winning engineers can either be an extension of your own internal team, or alternatively, we can manage your solution independently.

With a technical team that has over fifty qualifications between them, including Cisco Certified Internetworking Experts (CCIEs), you can rest assured that your network is in safe hands. Our technical capabilities are enhanced by both our internally developed network monitoring system, Mercury IT Insight, as well as our ability to host fault tolerant, hot standby systems in our secure, onsite data centre facility.

Key deliverables:

When you select your support or maintenance package, you will then be given direct access to the support engineers in our Network Operations Centre (NOC). These engineers will handle any queries/ issues that you may have. If you have chosen a managed service or extended support option, our technical team will also be responsible for the ongoing management of your systems as required.
Their tasks can include, but are not limited to, the following:


  • Systems Monitoring
  • Security Administration
  • Device Monitoring
  • Configuration Management

Managed Services:

  • Systems Monitoring with proactive responses
  • Incident Management
  • Problem Management
  • Change Management
