Well Meaning Hacker Raises Alarm Bells.
According to Catalin Cimpan from Bleeping Computer, an apparently 'well meaning' hacker has raised alarm bells with businesses by defeating their security systems and hacking printers that have been exposed, online.
Luckily our team at Mercury Technology Solutions (MTS) has been on the patching campaign and managed to secure the situation. Service Manager, Paul Walters is working with our Customer Systems Specialists on alert for any outbreaks.
"We patch constantly here at MTS. Our team is constantly working on problem threats behind-the-scenes and 99% of the time, we catch these before clients even realise".
Just another day for our trained technicians at Mercury Technology Solutions ;-).
